Uncontacted tribe in Brazil

Below pictures like this, you’ll find the following text here: “More than half the world’s 100 uncontacted tribes live in Brazil or Peru and campaigners say many face threats to their land from illegal logging.” How can they be “uncontacted” but also threatened by logging? I also wonder if the pictures would have been printed if the “tribes” people weren’t trying to bring down the plane with bows (apparently). My guess is not.
