Apropos of your second image: “If in all ideology men and their circumstances appear upside down as in a camera obscura, this phenomenon arises just as much from their historical life-process as the inversion of objects on the retina does from their physical life-process.”
Does this miniature photo-essay reveal caffeine as both an agent of critique in its capacity to invert the text or expose the text as always already inverted? Or does it reveal that even coffee is a textualized entity embedded in the web of ideology. serving here as a allegory for the way in which modern representation reduces human awareness to a form of alienated and addicting consumption? Alas, such questions cannot be answered within the scope of my current post, but you should probably hit me for asking them.
Yes, yes, and yes.
