Video of Saturday’s Occupy Oakland march past the lake to Chase bank:

[...] The Dude—not Jeff Bridges, the original—visits Occupy LA. Aaron Bady has been all over Occupy Oakland. Chemical bomb tossed into Occupy Maine. MTV will air “True Life: I’m Occupying Wall [...]
I was sitting in bed with my laptop last Saturday afternoon with writer’s block when I read a tweet that said the parade was marching towards Lakeshore, where I live. I got up, put my hair in a pony tail, brushed my teeth and ran down the street to take some pics.
I know the movement isn’t perfect, but they did smash an a Chase ATM machine and I took a picture of that. I think the 10% of anarchists – or whoever the quazi-violent sub-group needs to be careful.
I work in Downtown Oakland, so everday at lunch I come out and take pictures of the camp. I was once told by someone “no press”, but I am not press- I just take pics with my little pink camera phone. Why don’t they want press?
Everyday at work I hear “hella-copters” and Wednesday morning my co-workers smelled tear gas as they came into work, so we are curious because it’s all around us. Yet, when I venture the lawn, some are suspicious of me. Is it because I don’t have died hair and tattoos? I just want to document what’s going on. One person over at “Occupy Berkeley” asked me if I was an agent? I was wearing jeans. I don’t get it.
I come in peace.
